NeigborDrop
Founder & CEO
Building an AI-powered coordination network for local rides, store runs, and errands.
About / The person behind the work
I’m Sunill Kumaar, a Toronto-based founder and technology leader. For more than 20 years, I’ve worked on one enduring challenge: turning complex technology into something people can actually use.
My story
I’ve built and scaled products across telecom, finance, retail, healthcare, and education, leading global teams through growth and change.
As CEO of Symbiotic Infotech, I helped grow a 10-person startup into a technology business operating in more than 25 countries. That experience brought together product, engineering, commercial strategy, and the daily work of building an organisation.
At Bell, I led enterprise product strategy and transformation initiatives spanning AI, automation, digital self-service, cybersecurity, and customer experience.
Today, I’m the Founder & CEO of NeigborDrop. We’re exploring how AI can coordinate the movement already happening around us to help people and businesses get things done locally.

Leadership
My approach to leadership is to connect strategy with execution: give teams a clear purpose, create room for people to take ownership, and stay close to the customers we serve. Across startups and large enterprises, I bring product, engineering, and business teams together to turn ambitious ideas into practical outcomes.
Learning & community
Building NeigborDrop keeps me curious—about what people need, how products earn their trust, and what helps teams turn an idea into something useful.
Through Antler and Founder University, I’ve learned alongside other founders while developing my own approach to building a business. My broader training spans product development, project and program management, agile delivery, organizational change, and leadership.
A master’s degree in Business Administration and Management and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology bring two perspectives to that work: how businesses operate, and how people experience them.
Additional training: Workplace Mental Health Leadership, Queen’s University
Beyond the work
Away from work, I enjoy time with my family, travelling, and long drives together.
Cycling, bodybuilding, and treetop trekking give me different ways to challenge myself and recharge. Whether I’m out on a ride or navigating a course through the trees, I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors.
